Gradara

Gradara is a very popular place for excursions. The landmark is the castle, which is enthroned on the hill and can be seen from afar and is accessible to all. The way there leads through the historical centre and is lined to the left and right by numerous shops offering souvenirs, culinary specialities and wines of the area, as well as restaurants that serve their guests typical dishes of the zone or the popular pizza. Gradara is also popular for its falcons. The falconers regularly perform shows with their falcons, presenting to the public different types of falcons in their traditional historical dress.
